The New South Wales Chapter of the Australian Antique and Art Dealers Association (AAADA) will again be conducting their annual Spring Series of lectures in 2011.

The AAADA sees itself not only as the peak body representing Australia's top dealers, but also one with a responsibility to help ordinary collectors gain knowledge in their chosen field.

For some years, Sydney AAADA members have been sharing their expertise with the public in their Spring Seminar series. The seminars are held every Thursday evening on a specialist topic at a dealer's premises. This way collectors can uniquely learn by handling often rare pieces at close quarters; they get to know the dealer, ask questions and are encouraged to bring in pieces for discussion in a friendly and comfortable setting.
