These are now painted in shades of grey and ivory, and are upholstered in very chic silk lampas, including the big, squashy feather down cushions. C 1860, Second Empire, from the reign of Napoleon III and the Empress Eugenie, these chairs capture the full opulence of 19th century Parisian luxury decor. |
